Our December Art Contest was an unforgettable event. With twenty two wonderful submissions, cougars made it possible to allow others to view the creative nature of their own art. First place was awarded to Jason Cardenas, second place was given to Ceceila Martin, and coming in third place was Laurel Baker. There were a plethora of different artistic submissions ranging from everything to photography to charcoal. This was another event to encourage students to remember that although literature, history, science, and mathematics are an important foundation in education, art has its place too! We commend those who submitted, and we would also like to formally thank those who came and participated in the event as well.
Remember the deadline for submissions for the journal is Deceber 31, 2015 at midnight. Please submit now before it is too late!
